Cinch operates a direct-to-consumer e-commerce platform designed to meet the needs of car-buying consumers in an increasingly digital market.
The platform provides consumers an online experience in which they can find and buy the car that suits their needs, and have it delivered to their door.
We have teams based in London King’s Cross, Manchester and Hook.

Core responsibilities
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Management Accountant will play a key role in shaping and developing cinch’s Financial reporting capabilities, processes & procedures and control. This is an opportunity to develop a best-in-class finance function to support a growing business. Responsibilities include:
- Production of efficient, timely and accurate internal financial reporting
- Production of weekly cash flow forecasting
- Preparation and posting of month-end journals
- General ledger & balance sheet reconciliations
- Provide monthly financial information to Group Finance
- Supporting the Finance Manager with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Participation in ad-hoc projects
- Assisting with internal and external audits.
- Support the Finance Manager with Statutory accounts reporting

Candidate Profile
- Qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA)
- Background in financial and management reporting
- Well-organised with excellent attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
- Strong, current technical skills
- Experience of working with inventory is desirable
- Experience of improving financial and operational processes
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Articulate, persuasive, confident, possessing sound intellect; a self-starter with the ability to combine professional rigour with practical business requirements
- Experience of Microsoft Dynamics Business Central / Navision accounting system (preferred, but not essential).
